  1. How to Compress Images Click Select Multiple Images or drag and drop multiple images onto the page. You can also use keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste multiple images. Choose your preferred compression quality and output format, then click Compress. When processing is complete, click Save All to download your images, or click Image Preview to fine-tune the image quality and scale in a pop-up window. You can adjust each image individually before saving.
  2. Compress JPG This tool uses the ImageMagick image-processing engine compiled to WebAssembly to compress images locally in your browser without uploading them to a server. Use the quality slider to control the balance between file size and image quality. Higher quality settings help preserve colors and edge details, making them suitable for high-fidelity images and Retina displays. Lower quality settings can further reduce file sizes for faster mobile page loading and strict file-size limits, but may introduce more visible color artifacts, noise, or compression artifacts.
  3. Optimize PNG Reduce PNG file sizes by converting images to an 8-bit indexed-color palette format (PNG-8) and reducing the number of colors. Adjust the color setting to control the compression level: more colors preserve more detail and color accuracy, while fewer colors produce smaller files but may cause more noticeable color changes. Keep in mind that PNG-8 is not the same as standard PNG compression. PNG-8 converts an image to indexed color with a maximum of 256 colors. It is generally suitable for illustrations, icons, and screenshots, but may cause noticeable color banding and color loss in photographs.
  4. Compress WebP WebP is a modern image format designed for the web. It can often deliver smaller file sizes while maintaining good visual quality. Use the quality setting to fine-tune the output: higher quality is suitable for images that require detailed textures, small text, and sharp edges, while lower quality is ideal when prioritizing faster page loads and smaller file sizes. Excessive compression may cause blocking artifacts or loss of image details.
  5. Compress GIF Optimize GIF color palettes with ImageMagick to reduce file sizes while preserving animation frames. Adjust the number of colors from 2 to a maximum of 256. More colors help preserve the animation's original colors and details, while fewer colors can further reduce file sizes but may introduce color distortion, banding, or dithering. Reducing the number of colors often works especially well for simple animations with limited colors.
  6. Compress SVG Compress SVG files online by optimizing SVG code and removing unnecessary metadata, comments, whitespace, and redundant markup. SVG optimization helps reduce file sizes while preserving the visual appearance of vector graphics. Smaller SVG files can improve website loading speed and reduce bandwidth usage. Unlike lossy image compression, SVG compression focuses on simplifying the underlying code rather than reducing image quality.
  7. Compress Large Images For high-resolution images such as 2K and 4K photos, reducing image quality alone may not achieve the desired file size. Adjusting the image scale can further reduce file sizes while maintaining good visual quality. For example, you can resize and compress a 2560 × 1440 JPEG image to approximately 50 KB.
  8. Image Privacy and Security
    • 100% Local Processing — Images are processed in your browser using WebAssembly and never need to leave your device.
    • Privacy First — Images are not uploaded to a server, and we do not view, store, or collect your image data.
    • Remove Private Metadata — Compressed images are automatically stripped of metadata such as EXIF data, GPS location, and camera model information to help protect your privacy.
    • Original Files Remain Untouched — Compressed images are saved as new files, leaving your original images unchanged.
  9. Free, Unlimited, and No Watermarks
    • Free Forever — All image compression features are available for free, with no hidden fees.
    • No Usage Limits — Compress images without subscriptions or paid plans.
